College MCS didaftarkan atas nama Prudent Communication Sdn. Bhd. pada 13.03.1997 dan secara rasminya telah mendapat pengiktirafan sebagai salah sebuah Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi Swasta (IPTS).
No. Rujukan kelulusan penubuhan IPTS daripada Jabatan Pendidikan Swasta (JPS) ialah KP(JPS)5195/IPTS/899
